The future for places of worship

Chris Catling, Secretary to the Royal Commission on the Ancient and Historical Monuments of Wales, has written a very perceptive blog post on the situation as we come out of the SARS-CoV-2 virus lockdown. He says ‘For those of us who care about the future of Wales’s places of worship, the suggestion that they could soon be open again ‘for private prayer and contemplation’ is very good news. It would be better still if every church and chapel were to hang a big banner outside saying “We are open; come on in!”’.
